Born in Northeast Ohio, Jack earned an Associate of Arts degree from Cuyahoga Community College in Parma, Ohio, before obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics from the University of Akron. After attending Case Western Reserve University, where he earned a Master of Arts in Bioethics from the School of Medicine, he was a seminar leader at the Yale University Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics’ Summer Institute for three years. During his time at Yale, he also collaborated with the Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity, tracking and evaluating state and federal legislation affecting food policy.
Prior to arriving in New York City, Jack attended the Georgia State University College of Law where, in addition to his Juris Doctorate, he received a Certificate in Health Law, with honors, and graduated with highest distinction for pro bono service. During his law school career, Jack was twice selected as an extern with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, working both with its Office of the General Counsel and Public Health Law Program.
Prior to hanging his shingle as a solo practitioner, Jack was an associate with a major New York City medical malpractice defense firm, as well as with a boutique civil defense litigation firm in the Financial District, where he defended individuals and small businesses against personal injury and labor law claims.
Jack now focuses his practice on helping individuals in different ways. As a devoted father, Jack looks to help others who want to grow their families through adoption, helping them through a sometimes complex and frustrating administrative process. For those whose families may need advocacy in the legal process special education or disability law, Jack is here to help.
Jack is also committed to protecting consumers through debt defense and seeking justice for those those who are victims of violations of New York State and Federal consumer protections laws.
Jack is admitted to practice in New York State Courts and the Southern District of New York Federal Court.
